O8/06/10 New Music Video "Corruption" by Two Ton Anvil We are pleased to announce that the hard
rock metal band Two Ton Anvil have just released their new music video
"Corruption" to air on all national and local television stations
plus on demand. The video has a movie like feel to it and a story line about
corruption in politics where the lead character appears to be fighting
corruption and tracking presumably guilty people down, but in the end it is
him that is corrupt, covering his tracks, taking bribes, shaking people down,
and having people murdered. Inspired by corrupt Illinois politics. The video
stars: Paul Tietz, Jeff Russo, Daniel Keller, Kathryn Brenner, Lissy
MacMillan, Baby D Frost, Cyndi Carroo, Lindy Tsetseranos, Ty Barton, Kim
DeMumbrum, Mario and Paula Salazar & Paul Christon with special
appearances by: Colleena Corrigan, Kelsey Kozak and Galina Emmerich.

12/16/09 SGL Entertainment Signs Major Motion
Picture Deal Wow, We did it. "The Day Of The
Dead" will be coming to thousands of viewers Nationwide and throughout
Canada in 2010. We would like to thank everyone who helped us get this movie
out there and especially Ricardo Islas for delivering us such a great film.
And this is only the beginning as we will be pushing for International deals

11/11/09 Gregg Potter Wins An Emmy Gregg Potter, drummer for Dark Star Records recording
artist Supermercado, wins 2008-2009 Chicago/Midwest Emmy award for
“Outstanding Achievement for Individual Excellence on Camera Programming
Performer” also featuring Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick) and Damon Ranger
(Blackbox). Emmy’s were awarded on November 7, 2009 at the Park West,
Chicago. Gregg had to leave the
Emmy’s early to perform with Supermercado, who opened for international
recording artist, Steelheart, and then had to return to the Emmy’s to collect
his award.
Gregg Potter can also be seen in the
full-length horror film, Jezebeth, written, directed and produced by Damien
Dante of Satania 6 Films and distributed by DSR Music and Film Distribution
in association with Sony Entertainment.

new premiere progressive rock bands, Shatter Their Illusion, has signed with
Dark Star Records. The band has a long history of involvement in the Indiana
and Chicago area rock scene with several members coming from Dark Star
Records recording artist Grigori 3. Shatter Their Illusion is: Tony Banks
Vocals and Keyboards, Justin Mayberry Guitar, Scott Heath Bass and John
Pokorney Drums.
Their debut release “Shed My Wings” was
recorded by Matt Mercado of Sonic Palace, Oak Park, Illinois. Shed My Wings will be available some time

signs cello fronted metal band Angher. Band leader cellist/guitarist Greg
Korniluk was featured on the Apocalyptica album "Reflections". Soon

Star Records Dark Star Records signs hard rock supergroup
House Of Holland. Tommy Holland landed the job as Frontman/Lead Singer for
Steppenwolf in his early career after John Kay left the band. Then Tommy
signed to Atlantic Records with his band Holland in 1985 and released Little
Monsters. This all star lineup includes Tommy Holland, Vernon Voss, Eddie
Morris and Bobby Fields. Together these artists have performed with
Aerosmith, Warrant, Journey, Jefferson Starship, Overkill, Dangerous Toys,

9/24/08 Dark Star Records Signs European
Distribution Deal We are pleased to announce that Dark Star
Records has signed a European distribution deal with Code7/Plastic Head
Distribution Ltd. Plastic Head has
been in business for over 18 years, and is ranked the UK’s 10th largest
distributor. Some of Plastic Head’s
artists include: Anthrax, Avenged
Sevenfold, Cannibal Corpse, Exodus, Fall Out Boy, Greenday, Motorhead,
Obituary, Offspring, Rancid and many more.
Conquest, with their new CD “End of Days”
will be the first Dark Star Records artist to be released in the United
Kingdom and Ireland through Plastic Head Distribution in February 2009. Other
Dark Star Records recording artists will begin releasing their CD’s in March

9/21/08 Dark Star Records To Distribute Full
Length Horror Film Dark Star Records has teamed up with
Director Damien Dante of Satania 6 Films to distribute his second full-length
feature film entitled “Jezebeth”.
The world premiere of Damien’s first
full-length feature “The Blind And The Dead” featured a performance from Dark
Star Recording Artist Grigori 3, which sparked interest between the Label and
the Film Maker. Several Dark Star
Records Artists will be featured in the project including the Dark,
Alternative Metal Band Grigori 3. Film Composer Doug Shea whose work was
featured in “The Blind and the Dead” and Graphic Artist Drake Mefestta along
with Film Editor Terrell Woodfork are also contributing their talent to
“Jezebeth.”
This unique horror film promises to scare
the hell out of you and will be presented in a way that has never been done before
in filmmaking. The cast includes: Bree Michaels, Madeline Maser, Yvonne
Nieves and Amanda Konkul. Principal

8/23/08 Bloodstream Parade signs with Dark
Star Records We are pleased to announce one of Chicago’s
finest hardcore, thrash metal bands Bloodstream Parade, has signed with Dark Star Records. The band has a long history
of involvement in the Chicago metal scene with members coming from a number
of well known acts such as Down Lo, Concussion, Withdrawal, Deacon and

Deal With Lydian Sea Dark Star Records just signed a three album
deal with the Chicago based progressive metal band Lydian Sea.
